Kay Rasmus Nielsen (1886-1957) était un illustrateur danois, il a contribué à l'illustration des Contes de Hans Andersen en 1924. Il est également connu pour ses collaborations avec Disney pour lesquels il a travaillé comme artiste d'esquisse. Dans ces illustrations l'atmosphère blanche et évanescente fait ressortir l'univers merveilleux des hivers scandinaves.
